Who are you and what do you do at Panasonic?

My name is Benjamin Rasehorn, and I am responsible for new business development for the PIDEU Group.

How long have you been working at Panasonic and in which department? (Brief career history if applicable)

I have been working at Panasonic in Lüneburg since the beginning of 2017. I started as a product manager in the wireless modules division. After that, I worked as a key account manager for our largest OEM customer. Since the end of 2024, I have taken on my new challenge as Head of New Development.

Were there any special milestones or turning points during your time here?

A special milestone was certainly the in-depth immersion in our largest automotive project to date with a major German OEM, for which I was primarily responsible for commercial management for 2.5 years.

Which project or experience are you particularly proud of?

There are many of these – what particularly moves me, of course, are milestones like the delivery of our 50 millionth wireless module at the beginning of 2025. I had overseen this product group in the past – it’s nice when your own work bears fruit. I would like us to continue to maintain our unbridled innovative strength in order to overcome the hurdles of a challenging future. Panasonic in Lüneburg should continue to be a good and reliable partner – locally, with a global outlook.
